1/72 Scale. The worlds first mass produced and combat-used ballistic missle, the A4 (later renamed the Vergelitungswaffe No. 2 (Retaliation Weapon No. 2) and widely known by its abbreviation V-2) was developed during the late 1930s and 1940s by a large team of German sceintists, including Dr. Werner von Braun, who after the war would be known as one of the fathers of the American space program. More than 3,000 V-2s would be launched against Allied targets during WWII. This kit represents the production variants used from 1943 to 1945.
