WWII German Sd.Kfz.2 Type 170 VK Radio Car 1/35 Master Box
The Wehrmacht’s Fuhrung car Type 170 VK was based on the serial car 170 V from Daimler-Benz. The Germans’ decision to use a civilian car was not random; the car featured technological advancements such as an X-shaped frame, independent suspension, and an upper valve engine. It was a favorite among troops in every force of the German Army due to its reliability, and it was eventually produced in three modifications: scout, radio car and traveling repair shop. Between 1938 and 1942 over 19,000 were produced.
