The first serial product of the firm Bucker Flugzeugbau GmbH was the light two-seat training aircraft Bucker Bu 131 Jungmann. First flying in 1934, it proved quite successful and had outstanding flight characteristics. The second serial version was the Bu 131B with a more powerful engine. This type of aircraft was used extensively in the Luftwaffe as well as for civilian flight schools in Germany. The improved Bu 131D was standardized in 1939. At least 3000 were produced in Germany.

ICM recommends Tamiya paints for this kit. MegaHobby stocks their full line here!
