The USS George HW Bush (CVN-88) is the tenth and final Nimitz class ‘supercarrier’. It entered service in 2009 and is the most updated of its class in terms of technology and weapons systems. It is powered with two Westinghouse nuclear reactors, has a displacement of 100,000 tons and can reach 30 knots. Often the Bush is used in the development and testing of advanced weapon systems.
