There has NEVER been a 1/48 scale model of the T-34A/B, and it’s not often you can find an airplane subject that has never been made before. The kit has been created from ALL NEW tooling. The design evolved from the Beechcraft Bonanza and the 1/48 scale range of small aircraft is the best-selling kit category for Minicraft. The T-34 was originally developed as a trainer for the US military, but many were used by US allies especially in Japan, Turkey and many nations in South America. After the US military phased out the T-34, hundreds were sold to private owners – the airplane is still often seen at air shows and war-bird gatherings across the country. Many of these aircraft are used by private owners and some perform together in aerobatic teams at special events.
This is a plastic model kit. Assembly is required. Paint and glue are also required to complete, and are sold separately.
The completed kit will measure about 7.2" L x 8.3" W x 2.4" H.
Landing gear can be built up or down. Includes clear parts, display stand and Cartograf decals with two different markings.
