At the end of the 1960’s the Mikoyan Design Bureau was developing the world’s first interceptor fighter with a max speed of Mach 3 – the MiG-25. At the same time the recon-bomber modification was designed, called MiG-25RB, which served in the Soviet (later Russian) Air Force and were exported to Iraq and Syria. The Iraqi Air Force MiG-25RB was used for bomb attacks during the Iran-Iraq War from 1980 to 1988.

ICM recommends Tamiya paints for this kit. MegaHobby stocks their full line here!
