The Bf 109 played an important part in pretty much all WWII operations. The prototype first flew in May 1935. The single-seat fighter featured a 1435 horsepower DB 605 engine. Production totaled some 35,000 units. Features of this kit include landing gear in two optional positions, structurally detailed surfaces and cockpit with instrument panel. Includes decals for two versions.
