The ZC50C-5 is a 4t-class combined vibratory roller designed and produced by Hitachi. The term ‘combined’ refers to a vehicle layout where the front axle consists of a steel roller while the rear axle supports rubber tires. In the ZC50C-5, the roller is also fitted with a vibratory mechanism. This unique combination allows it to handle all stages of jobs such as asphalt paving, from initial ground tamping to finishing the final roll.
