The Douglas A-1 Skyraider was designed as the new generation torpedo bomber. At the end of the War its general mission was changed and the Navy applied the Skyraider as a new attacker due to the aircraft’s outstanding performance in strike missions. The A-1H is the single-seat attack aircraft version with three dive brakes and a centerline station stressed for 1,600kg of ordnance. It features a combination 360/760mm bomb ejector and a low/high altitude bomb director. 713 aircrafts were built in total.
