The VW Beetle is a favorite car of drivers worldwide. The ‘people’s car’, recognized by its distinctive body shape, was designed originally by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche in 1936. Since then, this model has been popular because of its unchanging style and great reliability, in which it sets new standards for small cars. The 1967 model saw a slight change of shape, with the headlamps placed in a vertical position. In addition, the rear engine cover was modified and fitted with the new VW emblem. The model was systematically improved during the years through the fifties and sixties. The 1967 model was generally regarded as the best of the Beetles and is the most preferred collector’s model.
