Skill level 2. 57 pieces.The Sd.Kfz.222 light reconnaissance armoured car equipped Wehrmacht units from the beginning of WWII and saw action on almost every front until 1945. Carrying a crew of three, featuring four-wheel drive, selective steering (2 or 4 wheels), anti-grenade netting and armour thickness of between 6.5 and 8.5mm. Armament consisted of a 2cm high velocity anti-tank gun and an MG34 machine gun. The Kubelwagen also featured in this kit, was developed from the commercial Volkswagen by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche. Used mainly for reconnaissance, it was the workhorse of the German Army.
