Elvira, Mistress of the Dark 1/8 Moebius

look up the actual kit assembled before purchase. nothing like the box art but i still liked it. rather difficult assembly because the skin areas are captured by the dress areas- you are left with seams on the dress unless you do lots of complex masking. I chose to use tape and silly putty masking to finish mine but this added several hours of time to the kit that would not be present on a better engineered model. socket the pieces in after painting would have been better. still hard to beat this kit for the price and worth the effort for a great likeness if well painted.

This one takes some time, but it's a great kit. Lots of seams to be sanded. Reminiscent of the Aurora Bride of Frankenstein or the Moebius Invisible Man in its complexity. Should also note that it's entirely appropriate for general audiences. I have a tween at home. The picture on the box front looks nothing like the completed mode which, while true enough to Elvira's likeness, has the whimsical appeal of the old Auroras.
