Good Kit
Victor Marshall (SandyEggo, CA) 7/13/2011 1:19 PM
I built this dioramma back around '71, when it came out. LOL, the photochop of Buzz on the box wasn't there. Well, there's no background, so maybe it's not a dioramma, but whatever you call it, Lander, experiments, two astronauts. The kit was sturdy and went together well. I had the Revell CSM/LM model also, (with its spindly-weak LM) and was surprised when the Revell command module actually fit into this kit's LM. Koooooool, heh heh. This would be an excellent kit to build a lighted interior into the LM.

My first real space kit
Tim Silver (Boone, NC) 3/2/2010 7:51 PM
This was my first attempt at a "real space" model. Thoroughly enjoyed the build and I'm happy with the result. Foil went on easily, decent parts fit. If you're a stickler for accuracy, you may have quibbles about the LM. But if you just want to have some fun reliving a great moment in American history, this is a wonderful kit.
